 And, in the end... 

without three of its top players in the line-up, 

the Boston Celtics' Rise 

was halted... Alas. 

Is it sufficient that, 

-just like the Bruins 

in the previous round 

in the NHL playoffs- 

the Celtics will see 

their hated opponent 

be destroyed systematically 

(even more so than the 

Tampa Bay Lightning was - 

by the NHL's version of Lebron: 

 Capital Ovechkin!)

in the very next round 

- this time not the East Finals 

but THE FINALS... 

(by the NBA's version of 

Cristiano Ronaldo: 

the Golden State Warriors' 

 Stephen Curry!)

It is small consolation, indeed. 

 May be enough for the Leprechaun... 

 But it is not enough for the 

 17-Time World Champion 

 (that's one more than Ric Flair!) 

 most storied franchise 

 in ALL of SPORTS - 

 The Boston Celtics 

But that is it - that is all -  

for this season...

Paul Pierce is most right: 

this is a learning experience for the young Celts 

 #CUsRise 

NEXT SEASON - 

when Kyrie, Gordon & 

maybe even Isaiah 

are BA-ACK in the line-up! 

because it certainly is not Cleveland!

100th Anniversary... Of Helping!

Only BOSTON came through to help out 

at the most dire hour in Nova Scotia history; 

the infamous Halifax Explosion tragedy 

that cut short so many lives - 

altered the path of so many more... 

The city of Boston was the one that sent 

supplies, clothes, the works - 

and that Christmas, after the explosion, 

wasn't so sad and miserable after all... 

Ever since, out of deepest gratitude, 

Halifax ships, each year, a Christmas Tree to Boston 

- and this tradition not only continues, 

one hundred years later - 

it is at its strongest yet.

After 10 Years - Bye Bye Claude!

Claude Julien is fired just as he confirmed himself 

to be the winningest coach in Bruins history: 

he's even ahead of the legendary Jack Adams!

But he can't hold a Samuel Adams...

So OUT he is!

I wonder if namesake Claude Poirier will quit being a fan of the team 

- in protest of this latest miscarriage of JUSTICE...?

Wow - February 3rd, Claude P. started his new show, 

promising 100% JUSTICE...

Within 3 days, Claude J. was FIRRRRRED...!!!

No, no and NO - 

in truth and officially,

we at the Bostonian Dreaming department here 

see absolutely nothing wrong (full) with 

the dismissal of one C.J. there - 

we'll definitely say nothing bad of it 

but we do hear LOTS about it - 

and it's all evil alright!

Ill-omens and naysayings about the chances 

of seeing these Boston Bruins accomplish anything at all 

- now that their top strategist is gone! 

Never mind the fact that old man C.J. 

was predictable and stubborn 

in his ''defense first'' 

- a proven method 

that wasn't producing results, alas; 

not consistently anyways! 

Otherwise, the Bruins wouldn't be sitting 

in ninth place in the Eastern standings, 

as they currently are; 

outside of the playoff picture!

At least BOSTON still has champions 

in the miraculous Patriots 

who managed to seize 

glorious victory 

as it appeared 

doomed not to be!

There was no 

celebratory 

post-game

- why?
