IT IS TOO LATE to collect a bunch of 

VIRTUAL CARDS... 

and MAYBE win that prize pack! 

...of course, those "Digital Card Packs" (DCPs...?) 

were not even pictures taken at Lake Tahoe at all... 

They couldn't be; having been taken, so obviously, 

even before the pandemic started...!!! 

And this thing now - the Digital Card - is never 

going to raise in value like the good old-fashioned 

collectible trading card of old...!!! 

What are you trying to pull, Upper Deck... huh?!? 

Virtual wool over the fanboys eyes...!!! 

But that's another story - extemporized

The Boston Bruins dominated at Lake Tahoe; 

Trent Frederic got his first NHL goal 

while David Pastrnak got his 10th NHL hat trick 

In the end, the Bruins trounced the pesky Flyers 7-3 

- and there was nothing Gritty, Philly Phanatic or anybody else 

could possibly do about it!!! Wooooo! LOL

Marchand is 100%... 

Chara is not injured... 

ETC... ETC... ETC. 

They Can Dream

All their dreams are justified and more than plausible; 

because these Bruins have proven that they are 

A TRUE TEAM --- and true championship 

material. Like the Red Sox. Like the Patriots! 

(Like the Celtics, too - per their tradition 

and with the coming of Kemba Walker 

and departure of Kyrie Irving! 

But that's another story...!) 

THIS... IS ABOUT THE BRUINS! 

AND THEIR FUTURE IS BRIGHT ---

Well, Chris Wagner was not seen in a long while -
he has a broken arm! Several other Bruins played on
with a whole lot of nagging injuries bothering them...
TRUE HEROES - I tell ya! 

AND THE ONE TRUE 

CHAMPIONS!

It Should Have Been...

What do the damnable Avengers (including Boston-born Chris Evans, 

self-appointed ass of America... er... Captain America!) 

call that side-effect thing again... a splinter reality? 

An alternate timeline: there you go! 

Well, call this what you will 

but this should have been 

the way things would have gone 

in these silly goose playoffs: 

... just like EA Sports 

had projected it, 

way back in 2014! 

They did it for Jarome, mind you - 

they had a soft spot for a great player who wanted 

to win it all once, at least, before calling it a career... 

Iginla had tried with the Penguins, in 2013; 

they were swept by the Bruins! 

He joined the Bruins the next year... 

They were ripped off by hated rivals in 7 games! 

And that was it for Iginla's quest for a cup... 

HE SHOULD HAVE PERSEVERED - 

kept trying, in 2015: third time's (usually) the charm 

- and it would have been, had he stuck with the 

BRUINS - instead, he left the team, 

weakening them, diminishing their chances...  

(He was not crazy: he was not about to join 

the luckier-than-crap shitty habs next...!!!) 

AND SO LET US BELIEVE 

- yes, *believe* - 

that if scientists are correct 

and science-fiction can be prophetic  

(sometimes...) and hit the nail 

on its proverbial head, 

somewhere, out there 

there is a reality 

- an alternate dimension, 

another timeline - 

where things occurred 

exactly as some sportscaster 

had projected them, right there 

on that bracket challenge!
